Tis The Season

I am getting soooo excited for Christmas!!! I love this time of year! I have been wanting to do a random act of kindness day for a really long time. This is a tradition I really want to start with the kids when they are a little older. (It's weird saying 'kids') So last Saturday Kristin and I went to Springfield and had a random acts of kindness day. We didn't get to do a whole lot of things but it was fun. We went to Barns and Noble and we each stuck four, four dollar bills in random books with a note. We were trying to be very sneaky and there were a lot of people there, so it kinda felt like we were doing something bad. We would look around and make sure no one was looking and hurry and put the dollar in the book. Then we bought hot chocolate and handed them out to the Salvation Army bell ringers at the mall. This was the most fun. They were so surprised and happy!

We had our Christmas play at church on Sunday. It was called Jesus vs Santa. Garrett played Jesus and I was Mary. It went very good! Everyone did a great job!
