Christmas 2010 (Part 2)

Garrett and I decided before we even had kids that Christmas Day would be spent at our house. We weren't going anywhere, but anyone who wanted to come over, could. That's how Garrett and his family always did it. My family always went somewhere and I'm glad we made the decision to stay home. We had a great relaxing day at home. Pippo and Pappy came Christmas Eve and stayed the night with us, Grammy and Steve came over that morning, then Meme and Poppy came by that evening. Reese got up a little earlier than normal Christmas morning and she was so tired she didn't want to finish opening her presents. She just wanted to snuggle with her Pippo.

Santa brought Reese a puppy, a broom set, and a stocking full of goodies

BIG GIRL BED!!!!!
Pippo and Pappy brought a full size bed with them when they came up. Daddy and Pappy put the bed together and she was so excited. We weren't sure how she was going to do but she did fantastic. She slept all night long and didn't get out once.

Christmas 2012 (Part 1)

We had a fantastic Christmas this year!!! I was really excited because Reese was old enough this year to really get into it. She got her own recliner, a princess cozy coupe car, a big rocking horse that talks and sings, a furby, a toy puppy and much more!! She made out like a bandit!

We started off by going to Silver Dollar City the Saturday before Christmas with my mom, brother and Steve. The weather was nice and the lights were beautiful! Reese LOVES anything to with Christmas. Especially all the lights, she gets pretty excited. Then we headed to Pippo and Pappy's for Christmas at their house.

Reese loves to slide, can you tell....

The girls and their matching recliners...

Reese was so exhausted. No nap and opening a lot of presents will do it

Lil Mama

It still amazes me how Reese is so loving towards her baby dolls. She loves them so much. She is so gentle with them and does all the "mommy" stuff with them. She holds them tight and ssshhh's them like we do when babies cry. She likes to swaddle them in her blanket. Burps and rocks them. Kisses and hugs them. She has one baby in particular who's name is Baby that she got from Pippo last Christmas. She LOVES this baby. She goes no where without her. Before we leave to go anywhere she has to go find her first. She has now started this thing when she cant find Baby she will walk through the house saying "Baby" really loud until we find her. Reese is only 20 months old and already has the mommy instinct. I guess we are just born with it. Kristin got her a baby nursery toy for Christmas and she loves it. Reese also got to feel baby Jaxon move last night. Not quite sure what she thought about it but she kept putting her hand on my belly afterwards.

She just put one of her babies to bed and is telling me to sshhhh

giving her kisses

I love those baby blues

She has started thing thing now when you get up from your chair, she hurries and climbs up in it and takes it. She thinks it's the funniest thing.
