What a week it has been! Reese is really getting to that stage where it is so much fun to play with her! First let me tell you, she is so observant like her daddy. When we go to a new place she had to check everything out. I have been working with her the past couple of weeks on rolling from back to belly. Monday we practiced a lot on our bed, Tuesday morning I layed her down on the floor and she did it all by herself. I was one proud momma! Now she rolls all over the place, I cant leave her for very long anymore or she may end up under the couch. She has also found her voice and her toes. All day long she talks and there is no sound I would wanna hear more. She has started to fight sleep at night by talking. The other night she was cuddling with Garrett and about asleep then decided she didn't want to sleep, she wanted to talk. It's getting to where we have to lay her down and listen to her cry for a while, that is very hard to do. Tuesday morning I had to take her for her shots :( She sucked down the oral one great, did not cry after the first shot, the 2nd shot the tears came. It breaks my heart. She did great all morning then it went down hill. I have never heard that child cry the way she had. I felt so helpless I cried right along with her. It just tore me up knowing she was in pain. Garrett had to make a run for Tylenol and then she and I spent the afternoon in the recliner.
This next video was Tuesday morning right after she had rolled over the first time by herself
As of today she has started sucking on her bottom lip..
Shes so cute! Did you give her Tylenol 30 minutes before the shots? That usually helps alot. Miss you guys!
ReplyDeleteMusic to my ears! Love those videos.
ReplyDeleteShots! Yuck! Thank the Lord for Tylenol.
She is such a good baby, so contented & happy. So glad I got to snuggle with her this weekend, enjoyed every second, every drop of drool & every ounce of spit up :)
