Reese and I went to Lillian's Birthday Party over the weekend. If was at Pigtails and crew cuts. All the girls got to dress up in a princess dress and have their hair, make up, and nails done. It was such a cute party and Reese loved every minute of it. She is such a girly girl. Most of the girls were 5-6 year olds but Reese fit in right with them and was so good. This was also the first day we got to spend just us together since Jaxon was born. I think she needed it as did I.

Life with 2 kids
I am so happy to finally be a family of 4. Life has definitely changed but for the better. Although I'm trying to get used to less sleep and I'm finding out how much harder it is to try and get myself ready and 2 kiddos. Plus cooking and cleaning. I have found myself a bit over whelmed the past couple days. I can see Reese struggling a little bit. She's not used to having to share attention. She woke up from her nap the other day, and we usually snuggle for a while after. Well I had just started feeding Jaxon when she woke up. I went in to get her, while holding Jaxon. She wanted me to hold her so bad. She cried and cried. I felt so bad, and of course I started crying. She had this sad look in her eyes and it broke my heart. I play with her as much as I can while Jaxon is sleeping. But I don't think its enough for her. I knew it was going to be an adjustment, but man its hard. I just feel so bad for her. Her little world of having mommy and daddy all to herself has completely changed. I'm hoping it wont last too much longer. I also feel bad when I have to get onto her or spank her. It's already hard enough on her that she isn't getting the attention shes used to and then to get in trouble. She looks at me with such a sad look in her eyes, and that is very hard to see.
Friday was my first time out in Springfield with both of them. I'm so glad Kristin came along with me, she was a big help. Although we laughed at the fact that me having two kids were a lot faster at getting mine out of the vehicle than she was with just her one child. The kids did great though. Reese was fantastic.
Jaxon had his circumcision that day as well. I was stressing over this. He also couldn't eat for 4 hours before the surgery. That stressed me out also. He eats every two hours!! I prayed and prayed all morning and day before. Boy were my prayers answered. God took care of His son. He did great without eating, only fussed about 30 min before but was soothed with his pacifier. When we git to the doctors office, they took us back to a room and I undressed him and they took him back. I hadn't cried yet. But I knew as soon as I heard him start crying I would also. Minutes passed and I hadn't heard him. Just other kids crying. Then I heard him......well I thought I had. I started crying and praying. The next thing I know they brought him back to me and he was asleep. I asked how he did and the Dr said he did great, he slept through it. That shocked me!! The only time he cried she said was when she got him wet to clean him. I was crying over some other baby!! Ha!! He has done great since then. It hasn't seemed to bother him one bit. I think it bothers me more.

Happy 2nd Birthday Reesey Bear!!
My how time flies!!! My baby is two years old today! I have been so blessed with such an amazing little girl. I have enjoyed watching her grow and turn into a sweet, loving, caring, compassionate, sensitive little girl. I am so glad that I get to be a stay at home mommy. It's the best and most rewarding job and I have an amazing husband who works very hard so that I am able to stay home. God has been so good to our family.
Reese has been adding many more words to her vocabulary lately. I love hearing new words and the way she says some of them is simply adorable. A couple of my favorite words she says are "easy" and "more" She has started taking an interest in coloring and puzzles. She LOVES being outside and recently playing in the mud. She is a very good big sister. From the first day we brought Jaxon home she has done nothing but show him love. She wants to lay by him all the time. It's very sweet to watch and brings much joy to my heart.
She is also a very big help around the house. She helps me put clothes into the dryer, she helps me take folded clothes into the proper rooms to be put away, she will take her dirty dishes and put them on the counter without me having to ask her. And she loves helping me sweep the floor. Even though she sweeps the pile I have already swept. She is a very is a very good learner. We are working on colors now. She knows yellow and purple so far. I love watching her learn new things and how quickly she picks up on things.
Mommy and Daddy love you so much Reesey Bear and are proud of the little girl you are.

Big Sister
We weren't sure how Reese was going to be when we brought Jaxon home. When Garrett or I would hold another baby, Reese would get really upset and start crying. She didn't like it one bit. I prayed and prayed that Reese would do really well when Jaxon came. Well when we got home from the hospital she was so excited and wanted to hold him right away. She did better than we expected. Garret even tried to take Jaxon from her and she got upset and tears filled her eyes. It was love at first sight :) She is so gentle with him. She even gave him her baby doll and she doesn't share her baby. I pray for their relationship as brother and sister. I pray that they will have a close relationship growing up.
