Trip to the Shelby's

 We went and saw Rachael, Austin, and Hadley over the weekend. It was sooo good to see them. We have missed them so much! Reese has really been missing Hadley. The girls were so happy to finally see each other again. When we first got there, they just ran around the house chasing each other and screaming and laughing. They played so hard together, Reese was wore out!

We had a good visit. Even though we miss them terribly, it was nice to see them so happy there. We can't wait to go see them again! 

Rice Cereal

Last night I started Jaxon on rice cereal. He isn't quite 4 months old yet, but I felt he was ready. He did so good and he actually loved it! 

He is also rolling over from back to belly now. 

Potty Training

I have been trying to potty train Reese since she was 18 months old. I finally gave up and decided she will do it on her own when she is ready. Last Friday was that day. I was going to the bathroom and she came in and said pee pee and took off her diaper and sat on her potty. I didn't think anything of it because she did this a lot and never went. I got so excited when she actually did. We did the potty dance and she got some chocolate. We immediately put on her panties and haven't gone back since! She has done an awesome job and I am so proud of her! She has only had a couple accidents. We went and ate at Red Barn that Friday night and she had a rootbeer of course. Then we let her pick out her own candy that she would get after using the potty. She chose dum dums and chocolate. I thought she might have an accident on the way home from all that rootbeer but she didn't. We were almost home and she said pee pee!! We told her to hold it and she did. We ran inside and boy did she fill er up!! Haha! I was so proud! She is growing up! I'm so glad to be down to only one child in diapers! 

     Two thumbs up for potty training 

We had Victoria and Jason over the other night, and this is Ryanne, who is 9 days older than Jaxon. She looks super tiny, but she's actually not. She's normal size for her age, Jaxon just makes her look tiny because he is s monster baby! Ha!

Precious Moments

Last week we took FiFi to Carthage to her Dr appt. Then went to Joplin and ate at the magic noodle, went to the mall, Walmart- where I just happened to notice that one of my tires was almost flat!! it was definitely a God thing because I never look at my tires. If I hadn't noticed it, we probably would have had a blow out on the highway. Scary. I went to the service dept at Walmart and the guy checked it and said there was only 10lbs of air and usually has 30. I thank God for showing me! Then we went to the Precious Moments Chapel. This was the coolest thing I have seen! It was so beautiful! They had a room where you could wright down your prayer requests and books where you could wright down special people you lost.  There was also this place, you couldn't go to it but you could see it from afar, a little castle play house for all his grand kids that he built. It was right on the river, like an island. It was round and had a high wall and the play house was right in the middle. You had to have a little boat to get to it. That would be awesome to have as a kid!! We had a fun day with FiFi! Both kids were great!!

Reese and Jaxon

We are so blessed with these two children. They bring so much joy into our lives. I'm so blessed to get to spend everyday at home with them. I love watching them together. You can already tell they love each other so much. When Jaxon heard Reese somewhere he looks for her and when he finds her he smiles so big. I pray that they will have a very close relationship growing up and for the rest of their lives.
