Christmas Decorating

Last night I decided to put up the Christmas tree and some decorations. I was so excited because I knew Reese would love it. Everywhere we go that has Christmas decorations, she gets so excited. She was a very good help and when we would tell her to put an ornament on the tree she would go stick it in the branches. At one point she had a pile of ornaments in one spot just laying on the branches. Her favorite ornament is the cowboy playing the guitar. She keeps going up to it and hugging it. I think it looks a lot like her pappy. I put lights up in the kitchen around the door and she loves it. She wouldn't stop laughing.

Hugging her cowboy ornament....

gotta love boots and pajamas :)

Random stuff

I found these really cute hand and footprint turkeys on pinterest that I really wanted to do with Reese. I was soooo excited for her to make these, I even made my own edible finger paint. I got everything ready and laid out on the floor and then she wanted nothing to do with it. When I stick her whole hand in the paint she freaked out. I tried getting her to stick her foot in the paint and she never would. She would come close but then back out. She hates getting stuff on her hands but I thought this would be different. Maybe Jaxon will be the one who likes to do this stuff.

she thought about it several times.....

We like to make a big pillow and cushion pallet every now and then also. She loves to bounce and jump all over the place.

I made a yummy homemade ding dong cake for our Thanksgiving dinner at church and she got to lick the leftover icing

Country Love

Yesterday Reese and I ventured up to the barn again. I think it's one of her favorite things to do. We found lots of horses and she was eating it up. It amazes me how much she loves them, and she is not scared one bit of them. They like her too. They kept following her up and down the fence when she would walk back and fourth. I got some pretty cute pictures.....

This one is my favorite....

Its a BOY!!!!

We are so happy to announce that we are having a baby boy!!! I am still kinda in shocked about it!! That's what we wanted but to me it's still crazy to think about!! I'm so used to little girls. All my friends have little girls so it will definitely be different but I'm excited! It's going to be weird shopping for boy stuff from now on. It will be a nice change from everything pink! Everything looked great on the ultrasound. He weighs 10oz. He has big feet and some long fingers. Not real sure where he gets that from because Garrett and I dont have that. I think maybe the long fingers from his aunt :)

Just a few random pictures of Reese...

Halloween 2012

I was pretty excited this Halloween because this was Reese's first year going trick or treating. Garrett went to church so I took her myself. I had so much fun with her. She did so well and I think she had a pretty good time as well. Mommy and Daddy have lots of candy to eat ;)  Of course we will share with her.

We had our fall party for church last Sunday. It was cold but fun! Garrett dresses up as Jase Robertson from Duck Dynasty and I was Morticia Adams. Reese didn't really want anything to do with me, she never let me hold her. At one point when we were getting ready at home she was backing away from me and ran off to find daddy. Reese is sooo much like her daddy when it comes to being observant. When we were at the party she was really quiet and pretty much walked around just staring at everybody taking it all in.

Katy and I took the girls to a Halloween Spooktacular last Friday. They had all sorts of fun stuff. Reese went on her first hayride and had her first cotton candy.
