Serving
My oh my time is just flying by so fast. I can't believe Reese will be 6 months in a couple weeks. AAAHHHH, half way to a year! It makes me sad to think she won't be a baby to much longer. She amazes me more and more each day. She is babbling all the time now, sometimes it sounds like she says dada, mama, and sometimes i love you, or maybe I'm just hearing things :) A couple weeks ago I moved the coffee table off to the side so she would have more room to play and she rolls EVERYWHERE! I can't leave her alone for two minutes with having to get her from underneath the couch. She has even managed to roll out of her play mat. She is also starting to sit up all by herself very well. Yesterday she ate almost a whole bottle holding it all by herself, the only time I had to help her was at the very end and has since been holding it on her own. I volunteer at the veterans home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays is bingo and I take Reese with me to help out. The old men absolutely love her. She was even given three dollars this past Tuesday, one dollar from one man and two from another. We're not supposed to take anything from the residents but they said since it was for Reese it was ok. I was even told today when I was there that the man who gave her two dollars hardly ever comes out of his room to do anything and had no kids of his own but he wanted to come see the baby. He was so sweet and just loved her. When handed me the money for her he said "think that will be enough to buy her a pop?" I had to inform him she was way to young. It is such a blessing and so rewarding to serve those who served for our country.

Horsin around
Yesterday was such a fun day, the weather was perfect I took Reese up to the barn to see Garrett. She sat on a horse for the first time. She also let a baby calf suck on her fingers and when Garrett wasn't paying attention the calf had Reese's whole foot it its mouth sucking on it, didn't even phase her. We went to watch Garrett rope later that evening and I must say Reese LOVED watching her daddy and the horses. We were sitting up in this stand and I had her sitting on the ledge up against me and she was bouncing up and down, watching all the action and laughing and talking the entire time. It was so cute! She had such a fun time!
I went a little crazy with the pictures but I was so excited!

How GREAT is our God!
It has been a busy past couple of weeks in the McMullen household. We now have a 17 year old girl living with us. Taylor has been with us for a couple weeks now. I am happy to say that she was saved a couple Sunday's ago. What's awesome is that the Wednesday before Preacher was telling us that him and the youth pastor had been praying for 2 weeks that they would see more people coming to the altar and give their life to Christ. So that's what we all prayed for that evening and the rest of the week. Then the following Sunday 2 people were saved. Taylor and a 61 year old woman. What an AWESOME service that was! A few days later another youth was convicted and gave his life to Christ. Taylor was baptized yesterday morning and I'm pretty sure another boy was saved after church. It is so amazing to see what God is doing in our church and with our youth.
Our friends Rachael and Austin are now expecting a baby in May. We are so excited and happy for them! Please keep them in your prayers.
Reese is getting bigger and bigger. I cannot believe she will be 6 months soon! Katy's mom gave us an excersaucer and she LOVES it. She is still rolling everywhere and those legs never stop moving. She even scoots some.I love watching her play and develop new skills, it makes me feel so proud! She is also sitting tripod style!
Doesn't she look so big in the picture.....

Glamour Girl
I had Reese's pictures taken a few weeks ago by Chelsea's photography. They turned out so beautiful, she did such a great job and was so great with Reese. She had a photo contest on facebook and Reese placed 3rd so we got a pretty good deal.
Can you imagine what Garrett said about this picture.......
The next two are my favorite...
Taking pictures is tiring...
