* Branson Getaway *

Garrett and I went to Branson on Friday and stayed the night for our Anniversary. Reese went to stay with Pippo & Pappy (even though she was in good hands it was sooooo hard to leave her. I may have shed a tear......ok, maybe more than that). It was very nice to spend that time with Garrett. We had a really great time! Garrett's plans were to sleep relax and sleep a lot but that did not happen. He wanted to sleep in to about 11 on Saturday morning which was fine, I would have liked to too. But instead I was up at 7:00 as usual because that's about the time Reese normally wakes up. (except she slept until 9:30 at Pippo and Pappy's) Reese was the only one who really got anything.All I bought was a pair on Tom's shoes and Garrett didn't get anything........ OH wait he did get a pipe, after we drove around for what seemed like forever trying to find this place because of all the traffic! I think we had the most fun at Dick's 5 &10.

Can't help falling in love

The love a mother has for her children is so......(can't even think of the right word). I fall more in love with Reese everyday. I can't help but think about God's love for us. I think I love Reese more than anyone but then God always reminds me that He does. I can't even imagine how much He loves all His children. I can't wait to see the plans God has for our precious Reese. I know she will do great things, and I'm honored that He loaned Reese to us to be her parents but we must giver her back to Him. There is no greater job in the world than being a mommy or daddy. I just love watching her grow and meet those milestones. I am one proud momma! She is really starting to hold her head up very well, starting to grab ahold of everything and putting it in her mouth. I have never been that much of a germ freak but now that I have her I am beginning to be. She LOVES to be nakey, and we are currently working on rolling over from back to belly. She is so close to doing it, she has mastered rolling over from belly to back. She is now playing with all her toys in her play mat, as I am writing this blog she is playing in it right now and has managed to turn herself from one end to the other.  Oh and she slept until 9:30 yesterday morning!! I had to keep checking on her to make sure she was still breathing! Garrett and I are going to Branson this weekend for our Anniversary and she will be staying the night at Pippo and Pappy's, it will be nice for the break but it will be hard being away from her that long.  Since I have not blogged in a while, many pictures to follow.....

3 years!!!

Happy Anniversary Garrett!!! I Love you so much and I thank God everyday for choosing you to be my husband.  These past three years have been great! Actually the past 2. As I write this tears are filling my eyes because this past year has been pretty tough, and I don't think I realize how tough it must have been for you. But I want to thank you for taking such good care of me.  Without you and God, I never would have made it through this with my head held high. I saw a different side of you, and it made me fall in love with you all over again. I want to thank you for never leaving my side and encouraging me when I was at the lowest point of my life. It was tough but we made it through. It was so hard for me to see the light at the end of the tunnel but you did. Thanks for being my rock. And now look at us.....We have THE MOST precious gift from God. He has blessed us in so many ways and I will be forever greatful. I look forward to many many more years. I love you!

Feeling Crafty

Since I am now staying home with Reese I have been trying to find a hobby. I think I have found one....CRAFTING!! I have been looking at some crafting blogs trying to get some ideas. I can't wait to try them! We have these two milk cans on our front porch that were here when we moved here that are all rusted and I have been wanting to paint them. Well today I finally got to and I am very excited about how they turned out, not to bad for my first project................

Freedom Celebration

Yesterday our church had our annual freedom celebration. We had a great time, no fireworks due to the storm we had later in the evening :(  There was GREAT food and fun games, one in particular not sure the name of it but it's some Japanese marshmallow game....VERY funny..........
